53 of them are from the Land of Fans and Music album and 31 from the Jailbreak album, not sure if I should count it since they’re not official
I also have the Homestuck for the Holidays album downloaded but not currently on my iPod, which is another 22 songs
I have the deleted songs from Bill Bolin and the various ones removed from Volume 5, but I don’t have the 3 new songs from the the big Homestuck Volumes 1-4 rerelease (John Sleeps/Skaian Mendicant, Gardener, and Potential Verdancy). If there’s bonus songs on that, I don’t know of them.
I don’t have the Squiddles album (sorry!), which is another 23 tracks, but I have everything else that exists on the Homestuck bandcamp (officially bought too!).
That’s roughly 474 Homestuck songs, not even including all the ones on tindeck and albums that are in the works like the Ancestors album for example.
To put this into perspective, ever heard of a band called The Beatles?
They have around 305 songs.
I’ll admit, since there’s just such a large amount of musicians working on it all, it’s not fair to do a comparison like that, but let me get to my point.
The quantity of music is staggering, but the quality is superb. I am astounded by the talent and skill demonstrated by all of the musicians.
So, in closing, Thank you Homestuck Music team and fan musicians! The music you’ve made means a lot to me and the fanbase. I hope all of you continue to make beautiful music and refine your craft.
